Live Music with the Nick Mardon Blues Trio

Join us for a night of live music with the Nick Mardon Blues Trio!

From an early age Nick had an interest in music.  He started Guitar lessons at age 7 and soon after picked up Drums at age 10.  Nick has studied extensively with Masa Kobayashi, Jeffrey McCormack, Jay Roberts, Greg Williamson, Randy Hansen and Milo Petersen.  Nick has attended clinics and seminars with Steve Vai, Zack Wylde, Al Di Meola, John Pettrucci, Carlos Alomar, Bryan Carter, Walter Blanding, and more.  Early on Nick’s biggest influences were Rock bands like ACDC and Led Zeppelin, but as he studied with different teachers he developed a passion for Jazz, Blues, Latin Music, Fusion, and many other styles of music.

Nick has spent extensive time studying the playing of Howard Roberts, Eric Johnson, Guthrie Govan, Steve Vai, and Robben Ford  Now Nick has done over 200 gigs in styles ranging from Jazz to Metal. Nick has performed at The Paramount Theater, The Moore Theater, Hard Rock Cafe, and many clubs, wine bars, and private events in the greater Seattle area.  Currently, Nick performs regularly with Bad Idea (Rock), The Nick Mardon Blues Trio (Blues), The Max Cannella Quartet (Jazz), JNAII (Rap), The Bellevue College Big Band, as well as playing Solo Jazz Guitar, filling in for bands, going to jam sessions, and teaching lessons.
