Bruce Pritchard has always been around music production. From songwriting, producer, to compelling performer, Bruce has been entertaining live audiences for 30 years. It is no surprise that the same sonic signature associated with the dynamic live productions of Seattle favorites The Dan Reed Network, The Roger Fisher Band, The Rangehoods, The Afrodisiacs and Zero ‘d Zero lend themselves so effectively to his own live shows. An insightful and clever wordsmith, he combines a truly unmistakable voice, expressive guitar work with the latest technology to create an incomparable live music experience. One might describe seeing The Walking Puzzle live as an aurally cinematic holiday. An impressive expression of emotion and wit, from evocative poignant ballads to no holds barred power pop delights that will leave you wondering what exactly that was that you’ve just experienced, and when can we do it again!

Bruce started his musical career around the age of 8 with a small part in Puccini’s opera in one act, Gianni Schicchi, in which his mother played a starring role. Keeping in the classical vein, Bruce has sung as a tenor in the chorus with the Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s productions of HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, The Mikado, Yeoman of the Guard, and The Gondoliers.

Contemporary themed projects include frontman for the alternative/progressive band Madshadows, as lead singer and co-writer with Douglas Rayburn, (Pavlov’s Dog, Hi-Fi) and Bruce Hazen (Hi-Fi, Iain Matthews, Billy Moon) the group garnered recording industry attention and was responsible for the future musical direction heard in most consecutive projects. The Walking Puzzle features the talents of Mike Griffin (Zero d’ Zero). This is the latest and certainly the most intriguing of all projects to date. An exciting selection of original classic and much new material that captivates and delights audiences with the big, unmistakable sound that is The Walking Puzzle.
